Support Coordination

Q: What is Support Coordination?

A: Support Coordination helps you understand and use your NDIS plan to pursue your goals. It involves connecting you with service providers, organising supports, and helping you build the skills to manage your plan more independently.

Q: What are the different levels of Support Coordination?

A: Level 2 (Coordination of Supports): Assistance to connect with supports, manage service agreements, and ensure services align with your goals.

Level 3 (Specialist Support Coordination): For participants with more complex needs, involving higher-level coordination and collaboration between multiple services.

Q: Can I choose my own Support Coordinator?

A: Yes! If Support Coordination is funded in your NDIS plan, you have the right to choose a Support Coordinator that suits you.

Your NDIS Plan

Q: How do I know if I have Support Coordination in my plan?

A: Check your NDIS plan under "Capacity Building Supports" – it will list either “Support Coordination,” “Specialist Support Coordination,” or “Psychosocial Recovery Coaching.”

Q: What if I don't have Support Coordination in my plan?

A: You can request a plan review and provide reasons why you believe you would benefit from support coordination. We can guide you through that process.
